I just checked, and that’s definitely a non-copyright-infringement version of Snoopy and Woodstock on the cover there. Has Mako been buying bootleg merchandise? (And if it was her mom’s, that just adds a crunchy layer of heartbreaking on top.)

And I can’t believe I didn’t think of Mako and Ami as Patty and Marcie before, it fits so well!

i recommend the episode where Sailor Jupiter joins the team and the one where her lunchbox gets stepped on so she summons an effing dragon to do her biddings BUT yeah this actually a really great list. THE BASEBALL ONE TOO.

I’m glad you mentioned these! Sentimental lunchboxes and awkward elevator rides are also crucial pieces of the Sailor Moon viewing experience.
