Minako reads them too, because she wants to pick up girls. (Mako picked one up on accident once, because she misunderstood the title and thought it was about how to physically lift people)

Silly Mako, you don’t need a book for that, you can do it by yourself.

Also I love the concept that Rei intends to make her heart into an impenetrable fortress, but she actually learns some good flirting tips somewhere along the way. 

Ami was always good at multiple choice tests… but how would she fare in a multiple choice romance?
