Wait, if you pause when Syaoran is doing the windy thing, you can see a little person in the wind, and that thing looks a lot like windy, what if Syaoran truly is sort of stealing the clow cards?

You’re right! There she is!

I also thought it was interesting that Sakura immediately recognized that it was wind magic.

If Syaoran is using the Sakura cards, you’d think she would be like “this seems familiar somehow…” Then again, Sakura has not been known to be especially perceptive.

I’m sure Tomoyo will study in a film school someday but she will basically teach her teachers

Film student Tomoyo living the liberal arts dream is a wonderful concept and I want everyone to think on it for a little bit. Alternately she might fall into the same trap that I did in every single writing class: I was only good at 1 thing so that’s what I did and teachers told me “you might want to consider branching out on your subject matter sometimes?” and I said “NO”

So Yuna cleaned Akiho’s memory after he mentioned Sakura’s dad as if he doesn’t want Akiho to know about it and everybody is saying how much Sakura and Akiho are alike (Akiho’s name Shinomoto is quite similiar to “Kinomoto”). WHAT IT CAN MEAN

IT MEANS THEY’RE EVEN MORE THAN SISTERS??????

” #TOMOYO AND MEILING CONTINUE TO BE THE SMARTEST MOST PERCEPTIVE SOULS IN THE CCSVERSE” So what I’m hearing is, magic makes you dumb.

Not necessarily (correlation does not equal causation, et cetera et cetera), but there might be some connection! Tomoyo and Meiling can’t sense magic, but can sense how people are feeling and correctly assess situations/patterns. Syaoran, I think, is too task-oriented to step back and see the big picture like that. Sakura is just kind of oblivious all the time and we love her for it.

*watches the new episode of CCS* So… the thesaurus’ for the Fight and the Strong got combined into a single card?! I mean, that’s what I got from the preview at least…

She does look a lot like a redesign of The Power but with upgraded tallness. Tbh Fight and Power could have been combined into a single card but Clow Reed simply could not be stopped. Anyway, I don’t know what she represents yet, but I will disclose that I DO love her.

When CCS first came back, I jokingly made up a theory that everyone was stuck in a time loop. Whenever something bad happens or if something doesn’t go like Clow Reed predicated it, the whole storyline gets rebooted, much like on The Good Place. Example: In one version Sakura dies before capturing all the Clow Cards. BAM! REBOOT! What if Kaito and Akiho are there to start another reboot?

I do like this theory (tho it may just be because i live for The Good Place). Like, it at least explains why there seem to be multiple versions of the events that happened in the first series. They’re just failed attempts at creating the best of all possible worlds!
