I was really confused about mamoru x usagi relationship when I was younger cause I always got angry he was so mean to her. It always seemed like she loved him way more than he loved her

^^^^^^^^^ When I started season 3 I noticed how Haruka and Michiru’s relationship was so tender and caring while still poking fun at each other, and then looked back at season 1 Usagi and Mamoru and it simply does not compare.
