For all of you who sent in asks that haven’t been answered yet: don’t worry! I’m not ignoring them, I’m just… not paying attention to them

And with that, both my ask box and draft box are completely cleared out. I always enjoy getting asks, but then when I have to answer them, I panic and ignore them for months at a time. It’s a work in progress. Nothing can tarnish this feeling of accomplishment.

If you sent or tagged anything that I didn’t reply to, it may be because a) Tumblr ate it, or b) it started with the phrase “Well, actually, in the manga….” So feel free to re-send anything that I may have missed, and I look forward to seeing how you all will fill the ask box next!

If you google “tumblr tag cloud javascript” then that can produce an alphabetized tag list to embed on a page on tumblr. Not the absolute best solution but definitely a stopgap, and it updates itself. I use post-theory[.]com / tumblr-tag-cloud-javascript

Thank you so much for this!! I just made a quick one for this blog (you can see it here) and obviously, it’s not perfect because a LOT of my tags are non-categorical and just obnoxious, but it’s at least a starting point. (I was trying to limit those, but tags like “jfc” and “whyyy” appear more often than some actual episode numbers.) Organizing this blog isn’t really a priority of mine right now, but it is an eventual goal of mine to have it cleaned up and looking presentable and ergonomic. The American Dream.

ur episode list page got too many links for tumblr to handle, u may want to split the anime into a separate page, then it should keep them links

Thank you! I’ve been trying to find a system that works for me (redirect each series to a different page? divide into 90s anime and non-90s anime? give up and make everyone fend for themselves?) It doesn’t help that I am back at school and don’t really have much time to organize this small disastrous sideblog. What’s important to me, at least, is that everything IS tagged, and is possible to find on the blog if you know where to look. It would be nice to have a direct link to every possible thing on one page, but tumblr doesn’t want me to be happy, and all I can do is curse this vast blue website. If you all have ideas for how it should be organized, let me know!

Every single time I try to update the liveblog links page on this account, Tumblr shamelessly strips all the text of its hyperlinks. Does anyone know a) why bad things happen to good people and b) how can I make it not do that?

reasons I’ve been gone:

  • finishing scholarship applications
  • stage-managing a show
  • winning a college comedy festival

reasons i will continue to be gone for a little while:

  • all the homework and projects I ignored while engaging in the above

I’m sorry I haven’t even bothered to set up a queue, but I just want you all to know I’m doing quite well and there is hope for watching more Sailor Moon on the horizon!

Blog organization. Blorganization

Disregard this post if you wish to have no say in how I present content.

I’ve fallen behind on keeping the episode list updated and need to backtag some chapters of Sailor V, so I might as well change a few more things for better enjoyment! Things to consider:

URL and tagline: something that actually indicates what I watch and do? (I kept the current tagline, “i literally know nothing about sailor moon so i’m gonna watch the whole anime and livetweet my reactions. send my regards to Mystery Science Theater 3000,″ so that people would know how this blog started, but it’s not really relevant since I finished the anime several months ago and now know too much about Sailor Moon.) I’m not really a fan of changing URLs because it always causes a lot of unnecessary confusion, but then again I only ended up with this one because it was my Twitter handle.

Theme: Should it change? Priorities are readable tags, easy navigation of pages, and not sucking.

Tagging: How do you like to look for things? By episode/chapter number? by character? by post type? by scrolling through the entire archive until you find something worthwhile?

Icon: Just kidding. Artemis is me forever.

Thanks everyone! Thoughts?

What’s Next?

Good question!

As I am completely finished with the original anime of Sailor Moon, I’m looking to the bright horizons of other things the franchise has to offer. Since I am acquainted with exactly none of those things, I look to your advisement on what to watch, read, or absorb through osmosis. Only rule is it has to be fun to blog about. (Though this is a democracy, I still maintain full executive power over what enters my visual cortex.)

Without further boringness, here’s what I have planned:

  • Sailor Moon: Another Story game (which I started a while ago and simply forgot to finish)
  • Manga and Codename Sailor V (how should this be accomplished? scans? hard copy translations with mediocre phone camera? text only reactions? combination of all three?)

I don’t anticipate either of those will take me an extraordinarily long time. After those are done, I plan to just do some of whatever strikes me at the moment rather than commit to an order. None of these seem like they would be more valuable to watch first, but if you think that some of these are better with a specific order, please let me know! “By request” means someone has to point me to a specific episode that they want me to watch because I am incredibly indecisive and unlikely to make such choices on my own. Items in the metaphorical pool of random selection include:

  • Re-watching some of the episodes with disappointingly short or boring liveblogs (by request)

  • Dubbed episodes (old or new) (by request)
  • Musicals (old or new)
  • PGSM
  • Crystal
  • Utena, Madoka, or Other Anime

I think that’s it! My fate is in your hands.
