Tomoyo creating a drone to follow Sakura in the sky is indeed a genius move but she sould invest in a mini camera so Kero can film things from the way things are going. Also I’m gonna slide into your conversation about cards… even if Gravitation isn’t a thesaurus for another card name, one could say it represents Jump in a way, Sakura uses both cards in similar ways in situations in which the flying cards can’t be used as easily.

If the Daidouji toy company can manufacture a tiny Kero sized headset, surely a miniature camera is not far behind! That’s true that Jump and Gravitation are pretty similar, just one is “not enough gravity” and one is “too much gravity, but in an unusual way”

timemachineyeah:

It is my deepest wish that the new Cardcaptor Sakura series make another meta comedy short (like the ones about the making of the OP and Yamazaki’s eyes) about the continuity errors between the old anime, this new sequel, and the movie.

Just “I thought they tore down Eriol’s house?”

“Oh no, that was Clow Reed’s OTHER ancestral English home here in Japan. He was a weird guy.”

“So how did you exchange those bears again?”

“Well Sakura came to see me off at the airport-“

“Hoe? I thought I saw you off at the bus?”

“And then I had to wait for her confession-“

“I told you then I thought? But wait, then what was I so nervous about confessing when we were doing the play…”

“I, you gave me the bear at the bus except I gave you the bear at the airport but … when did I leave? Did I come back?”

*Kero starts pulling out pushpins and charts*

Tomoyo: ohohohoho I know how it all happened! I recorded it all, of course!

*they watch a playback with all kinds of increasingly ridiculous hand-wavy explanations like: Syaoran misheard her at the bus so that’s why they had to confess twice! [clip of Syaoran hearing her say Bon Bons are her number one]*

“Oh! So that’s how it happened!”

The perfect way to patch the canon holes that they’ve already acknowledged are there!!!

replied to your post “To be fair the gravity card is one of the only ones that’s not part of…”

I really enjoyed how confident and efficient she was with her magic use this episode, admittedly somewhat because there was not much run time left for her to be uncertain or do trial and error in, but it was just cool! She sized up the situation, she did magic with rollerblades on (I’M SO GLAD SHE STILL HAS THE ROLLERBLADES) and she took care of business in a very competent and decisive way.

My favorite part of the episode was when she just BASE jumps off her own front porch

Tomoyo’s gonna be so mad she didn’t get to film this.

replied to your photoset “I know I say this every time but the amount of emotional turmoil these…”

what would she do if she was like “Syaoran I want to make you a special lunch, hmu with your requests” and he was like “I’d like something with konjac”

This is the TRUE Final Judgment. Where do your priorities lie, Sakura? Where is your loyalty?

I think Akiho has no parents and she came from another dimension (I don’t know if make sense, I’m drunk)

Remember how Yukito was like “no guys I TOTALLY live with my grandparents” and then it turned out that they just…. didn’t exist? You may be onto something here, Anon, inebriated or otherwise!

To be fair the gravity card is one of the only ones that’s not part of “clow reed but with a thesaurus” she used the fly card a lot in the past, why use the same card with a new paint job when she can play with something different

I’m happy to let Sakura’s decisions be governed by “Rule of Cool” rather than “Basic Efficiency;” the gravity card DOES have a lot of creative potential and Sakura likes a challenge
