You know I like to believe that in Crystal Tokyo the senshi are also living their dreams like little do you know that priestess at that shrine is Sailor Mars or the lady who owns that bakery/flower you always go to is Sailor Jupiter and your doctor

(2/2) Is actually Sailor Mercury and the world renowned idol Minako Aino is actually Sailor Venus

I will admit that I like the idea that the girls have to sacrifice their personal interests for the sake of their duty as a guardian, for we are all born with burdens to bear and circumstances we cannot change.

However I ALSO like the idea that ALL THE GIRLS ARE HAPPY so you can see which one usually wins out.

To the Senshi, their greatest dreams are not to be heroes or save the world. That’s an irrevocable facet of who they are, but it’s not their identity. They can prevent the apocalypse, sure, but they can also fix broken bones and create great music and uphold traditions and make a nice breakfast. They deserve a chance to decide who they want to be, and in what way they are going to better the world.

I just learned that in 90s anime Jadeite was supposed to come back later on but due to a change in director he’s trapped eternally in Crystal (also imagine how hilarious it would be if he got out and its Crystal Tokyo)

Neo Queen Serenity sanctions the first North Pole expedition in thousands of years and they bring a man frozen in crystal back to her palace and she’s like “I thought I ran over you with an airplane in 1992″

But she is a nice person so she reawakens him and the first thing he says is “where is Queen Beryl? I need to collect energy to revive Metallia”

“Well, buddy, I’ve got some bad news for you”

Also I’m glad you liked my post about Usagi being immortal and the evolution of language.

I adore that concept to an embarrassing degree! Your headcanons are always a delight, and I am always here for SilMil or Crystal Tokyo speculation. Did the Moon Kingdom have a system of writing, or did they not never develop one because their lifespans were so long that they didn’t feel the need to preserve things for posterity? Maybe Moon and Earth have similar languages, or perhaps they developed different dialects through separation. (”She has such an Earth accent!”) Imagine one of the Senshi somehow smuggling a Silver Millennium relic and waiting patiently for the day when she would be able to remember her past life and read what it says. I JUST CAN’T STOP.

Sailor Moon Plot Twist:

crunchbuttsteak:

Languages and writing systems change and evolve over time.

NQS knows 30th century kanji and had to actually look back at her old writings from the 20th century to remember how to write in a way that people could understand what she was saying.

You know I have a lil idea of how the Tsukino family is still alive in Crystal Tokyo: I imagine that Usagi harnessed the power of the Silver Crystal&put them to sleep inside crystals right revealing her identity&so&so so they get to be around

(2/2) I also imagine she applies the method to the whole world

(referenced post)

Any theory that allows the Tsukino family to survive is okay in my book! I imagine it plays out something like this.

The Future: There will be a great disaster, and most of the earth will die before you resurrect it centuries later.

Usagi: Literally fuck that I have a magic rock that can heal anything with the power of my heart

WHY I CANNOT CREATE ANYTHING DECENT FOR ANGSTOBER

This should have been a contribution to day 9, “Immortal in love with mortal(s)”, but GUESS WHO FAILED. Under the cut because it turned out to be loooooooong.

if you don’t think king endymion would send mass emails to everyone he possibly could (potentially, the entire world,) with the subject “ATTN: important” and the content is just a very nice photo of a puppy. I disagree,

Sailor Moon SuperS, ep 146

DIANA: That reminds me… the Queen and King of the future always had a fever just on the days they had stuffy ceremonies to attend. There’s really nothing to worry about because they’re always well by the time the event ends.
LUNA: The king as well?
DIANA: Yes.
LUNA: The king fakes an illness as well…

THE FUTURE IS IN GOOD HANDS

Do you ever think this could lead to a major political issue, though? The public starts to get restless. If the queen really is sick so often, then how can we trust the power of the Silver Crystal? How much longer can its magic last? No one has the answers and no one knows how to get them… except by force. Meanwhile Mercury and the other inner Senshi get stressed out under the weight of all their new diplomatic and negotiation obligations. They’re not about to start a military coup, but they sure could if they tried. With tensions so high, surely something will snap sooner or later. A political crisis is on the verge of eruption.

Chibiusa sees only one solution, and it’s one she’s used before.

She retrieves the key of time-space from Pluto to get back to the not-so-distant past, on a noble mission to ensure that her mother the queen gets laid with slightly less frequency.

She calls it “Operation Cockblock”

sailormoonsub:

Happy Usagi’s Birthday!

It may not be an official holiday yet, but come Crystal Tokyo, you know it will be.

All under NeoQueen Serenity’s rule shall celebrate the day with the reading of comics, the eating of cakes, and sleeping through anything that does not belong to the previous two categories.

And failure to engage in the festivities is punished with a slap to the face.
