Did you hear that Saitou Kun was in the first musical?

I DID NOT KNOW THIS INFORMATION BUT I’M SO GLAD TO HAVE IT

I imagine he has a stirring musical number about punching people in the face and failing out of school

followed by a choreographed dance solo à la Fred Astaire

I want to know this guy’s life story

Between the multiple head wounds and the mask that simply reads “DEATH” you would think he was a tough guy, but all his dialogue is trying to get Minako out of the fighting and being concerned for his friend’s education.

Also I’m going to cry over this for a little bit, because Minako has an image to maintain, not to the world in general, but to herself, and feelings of vulnerability do not fit that image.

Me: Wait a minute isn’t that guy from chapter 1 her first love

Artemis, one page later:

sailormoonsub:

I’m really concerned about continuity within the Sailor Moon universe like in episode 1 her hair has bones

and then sixty-three episodes later they are nowhere to be found

how am I supposed to establish a fundamental canon with such an inconsistent framework

Next up in the Sailor Senshi skeleton series: Minako’s lower jaw is directly fused to her collarbone

I love the tiny extra narration calling Minako out on her own bullshit

Saitou: when i was in high school i was in love with my teacher

Minako: what

Artemis: what

Saitou: is that a talking cat

Artemis: let’s take things one weirdness at a time

“But not outside of Japan. That just seems a little ambitious for a relatively new company, and here at Dark Agency, we are known for reasonable goal-setting.”

Artemis is me
