Usagi enjoys doing the laundry. All the drudgery of sorting colors, measuring detergent, and checking pockets for loose change and forgotten food is nothing compared to the climactic moment when the clothes come out of the dryer in a beautiful pyramid of warmth and comfort. Usagi lies like a starfish surrounded in the pile of warm clothes, content with her life and with herself.
After they cool off, it’s up to Shingo to match all the socks.

8. What is their bedtime routine?
Her bedtime ritual, much like the rest of her life, is a choreographed song-and-dance number. It begins with a brief striptease in front of the mirror, then a reverse striptease to get into pajamas. A pirouette into the washroom, where she has a little pop-beat-tune to keep her on track, with such engaging lyrics as “brushin’ my REALLY LONG HAIR” and “washin’ the left side, washin’ the right side, OF MY FAAACE”. An attempted moonwalk back to the bedroom, where she energetically shuffles to an imagined rhythm to sort-of make the bed she didn’t make in the morning. The finale is a slow wind of the alarm clock, a good-night to Artemis, and a long fermata as she turns out the light.
Usagi demands twice as many presents from everyone: a birthday gift and an “I just had a baby” gift. instead of giving words of encouragement during labor, her friends just sing the happy birthday song to her in various tones from caring to aggressive. She tries to feed cake to Chibiusa before the others flail their arms and remind her you’re really not supposed to do that. They’d be lying if they said they didn’t question Usagi’s motherhood skills at least once, but they know it’ll all work out fine. Usagi keeps telling everyone it’s her worst birthday ever, but secretly it’s the best.
