“The Barazuishou”. You know how in French they say “bar a vin” (wine bar) or “bar a biere” (beer bar)? Well now I can’t help wondering what is this “Zuishou” they serve at Mugen Academy and if ChibiUsa will be bound to show her 900 year old ID card to get some.

Le Bar à Zuishou does sound pretty classy, in a “let’s integrate as much trendy French vocabulary as we can” kind of way.

But the best part is, after all of the senshi nearly died (or did die) retrieving each of the crystals from all the corners of the world, THEY DIDN’T NEED THEM AT ALL

ALL THIS TIME ALL THEY NEEDED TO SAVE MAMORU WAS TO BRING HIM TO THE FAKE FRENCH RESTAURANT DOWN THE STREET

Just a quick note to tell you – you had the patience to answer very politely and openly to a negative anon who did not even have the courtesy to bother with punctuation, and for that you have all my respect.

I knew being an English major would come in handy one day.

I don’t know if you’re having fun watching PGSM, but it’s a lot of fun to read your posts. Thanks for doing this and “ganbatte”, PGSM is full of surprises !

Thank you so much! I honestly had mixed feelings at first (specifically: plush Luna falling out of the sky), but it’s exceeding whatever expectations I set up for it. Kind of like the 90s anime, PGSM appeals to both of the things I like: awkward tackiness that I can mock, and genuinely engaging characters that I can love. 

Obviously, I’m only two episodes in, so my thoughts so far account for approximately 5% of the series. But I definitely plan to stick with it!
