I’m pretty sure this is the entire reason they made a new dub.

I certainly can’t recall how I found this post, but imagine my disappointment when I found out this blog has been defunct for the better part of four years

in manga he had a cowprint vest in crystal they change it to solid colour..but he wears a lot of weird vampire medallions even in civilian form, if his parents hadn’t died in a bday car crash, He’d be like “These are my awards, mother! From Army!”

He sort of has to be a vampire, because honestly who else could pull off that much formalwear in casual settings with panache 

I really love “MOTHER MY AWARDS FROM ARMY” but do you think that Mamoru ever awards himself his own badges like “didn’t succumb to horrible flashbacks today” or “teased a middle school girl about her grades on the street”

I love every single one of these potential medals.

But I imagine he’d be really annoyed that he came in second for flower attacks EVEN IN HIS OWN ARBITRARY RANKING SYSTEM FOR SELF-AWARDED MEDALS and he just grudgingly tosses the first place medal (which he made himself) to Jupiter. Mako is confused, but when the king gives you a medal, you wear that thing. And every time he sees that badge on Mako’s well-endowed chest he vows that someday that medal will join the glittering host on his lavender tuxedo.
