Fun Fact: one translation of the sailor moon manga mistranslated sailor saturn as sailor satan

Employee 1: Looks like the hiragana spells out “sataan.” That’s probably “Satan.”

Employee 2: Satan is not a planet. 

Employee 1: Then why would it spell out Satan?

Employee 2: I don’t have time to explain Japanese naming conventions to you. There is literally only one planet name that hasn’t been used yet, so I think it plausible that this is not the intended meaning. 

Employee 1: I’m writing down “Satan.”

Part of me knows this is a mistranslation and should be ignored.

Part of me desperately wants to pretend it’s not.
