there are a lot of truly iconic moments in PGSM but I think one of my favorites is Ami Mizuno transforming into Sailor Mercury for the first time WHILE ACTIVELY FALLING OFF A BALCONY

Thank you so much! I honestly had mixed feelings at first (specifically: plush Luna falling out of the sky), but it’s exceeding whatever expectations I set up for it. Kind of like the 90s anime, PGSM appeals to both of the things I like: awkward tackiness that I can mock, and genuinely engaging characters that I can love.
Obviously, I’m only two episodes in, so my thoughts so far account for approximately 5% of the series. But I definitely plan to stick with it!
