It’s also a pun! “Ichigo saigo” like… ichigo means strawberry but it also means “first”. And saigo is “last”.  So at least Minako’s ridic use of punnery has remained across canon. (unless it was Usagi who said it, I don’t remember now)

Thank you!! I’m now pretty much convinced that Minako doesn’t save the strawberry for last because she likes it best, but because just in case anyone asks she can use that pun. There’s no guarantee that anyone will ask, or that they will get it if they do, but just having the setup to that punchline available is vital to her. 

Yay, you did another episode of pgsm! Btw, if you think pgsm has a lot of coat swishes NOW you haven’t seen anything yet. There will be more coats around over time, and they will all swish magnificiently. Almost makes me wish the senshi had coats too.

If the senshi had capes, can you even imagine how much of each episode would be dedicated exclusively to cape-swishing? At some point, the show would reach critical mass and begin to crumble from the inside out, unable to contain that which it created.

Aside from Makoto being absent for the introduction scene of Venus, there’s even an impromptu jumping rope fight sequence.

Yes, that was absolutely excellent! Every battle should have one.
