oooh you’re getting close to the end of pgsm. i’ll need to catch up on your posts. will also need to buy popcorn for when you liveblog the pgsm specials. :) they’re like the producers were fully aware that this show is sailor moon on crack (well, on even more crack than the anime was already on), and decided to ADD EVEN MORE CRACK basically for the heck of it.

I’m so excited for both the specials and the bonus materials!! I watched Kirari Super Live a while back, and it was EXCELLENT. 

When Usagi got caught in between Mamoru and his girlfriend named after the Sun, that’s a solar eclipse in there. When Mamoru was fated to Usagi, Hina got a total eclipse of the heart. And then there are still people who dismiss PGSM’s profoundness.

Super embarrased to to ask this but I’m old and Google gave overwhelmingly different answers. How do you make screen caps for your PGSM posts? Do you just screen cap from VLC player and save as image? Love your blog and its community and humor! Thank u.

Disclaimer: 

I’m using a Mac laptop, so you might have different shortcuts and automatic settings, so maybe play around with system preferences. It is possible to snapshot with VLC with option + command + s, which dumps the current screen into a Pictures folder. I prefer command + shift + 4, which gives you a crosshair as a cursor, then click and drag to capture the area of the screen. This allows you to control cropping/image size, and it works for every video player. (You can capture the full screen with command + shift + 5, but I don’t like having the black bars on the side!) The image automatically saves to the desktop, which I click and drag into a Tumblr or Twitter field. When I’m done with the image, I dump it in a folder with 4,000 of its friends. There’s probably an easier way, but I’m so used to this it’s more muscle memory than anything else.

Not a question but I just want to say how glorious your live blogging of pgsm is and I can’t stop laughing at it.
