The helicopter noise is likely meant for drama and to show the drama of the situation. (Ie, helicopters usually mean that they’re news reporters reporting on the event, or hospital helicopters trying to transport patents to the nearest hospital that can accept them. I notice it a few times, that when theres’ a massive emergency, helicopter noises just become the main ambiance. )

The great news is, every single one of you is right

Have you considered Miraculous Ladybug? Its a superhero show that takes inspiration from magical girl shows. The characters are wonderful and the designs are great. Writing is a bit simple in most of season 1 but season 2 starts in may!

Here’s one I have actually seen some of! I watched some episodes with @milliezone and @beauxoiseaux. I admit, I wasn’t too immediately enthralled with it because of its reliance on cliches and its extremely formulaic structure, in addition to the protagonist-centered morality. I think they could have done more with the concept of “luck” as a power. As it is, Marinette is already talented and smart and everything a heroine should be; does she really need “luck”? The animation is really quality, though, and it has some genuinely funny moments. If it gets better on the story front either in this season or the next, I’d love to give it another shot!

You can’t just say “I watched Dr horribles sing along blog” and then not elaborate

Elaboration: It’s a damn good film. The songs are good, that characters are good, the moral ambiguity is “good” (or so we call it). It’s always fun to bring up when you’re thinking of what exactly heroism and villainy is, even if it is a parody. A+, gold star.

I wish to know more about this ‘fifty scones’ ordeal

(2/2) One time, when no one was looking, SMS baked 50 scones. That’s as many as five tens. And that’s just terrible.

There’s literally nothing more to this story than I just made fifty scones. They’re in the oven right now. (I will have you know I laughed so hard at that addendum.)
