“May this reign of prosperity last forever and ever!” the man continues.

“All hail NeoQueen Serenity!” adds the woman, flashing a forced smile in the direction of a nearby security camera.

I love your blog!! And your tags are so good. Please never stop blogging :) Also, I started playing SMAS because of you and it makes me feel so much better about my struggle with Mercury’s boss battle because I, too, scratch fought for like at least half an hour. The formations and special attacks in this game have a steep learning curve if you’re not using a guide!

Thank you, thank you and you’re welcome! I put Mercury on the front lines and equipped all her best accessories, and it was still a good forty minutes before the battle ended. There’s a reason that she almost never has to fight alone in the anime.

Imagine if Luna found Mercury first, before Venus or Moon awoke as Senshi. She would try her hardest to adapt her support abilities for combat, but no matter how fast she could analyze the monster’s weakness, she never had enough raw power to exploit it. It would be a massive source of frustration for her; what good is knowledge if you can’t use it? Almost every battle ends with Mercury escaping under the cover of Bubble Spray with her conscience chastising her. Luna loves Mercury, but she has to decide if it’s worth it to keep trying or if she should wipe her memory, find another Senshi, and start again. She knows which option would make her happier.

“WHY WAS I PROGRAMMED NEVER TO KNOW JOY”

Is Usagi too innocent to realize he’s trying to buy his way out of here… or was this her master plan all along?

The man at the counter pulls a skeptical face, but listens, intrigued. Time travel. Crystal Tokyo. He knows all now.

After the episode: Motoki gets home from a long arcade shift and finds his sister’s room destroyed and everyone trying to restore her heart crystal
